Mishima Skywalk

Bridge spanning over a valley, famous for views of Mt. Fuji

The Mishima Skywalk, otherwise known as the Hakone Seiroku Mishima Suspension Bridge, is a pedestrian that stretches 400m across a valley on the southwestern side of Hakone. On clear days, the Mishima Skywalk offers up a unique view of Mount Fuji, which looms in the distance. When the Mishima Skywalk was completed in 2015, it took the record for Japan’s longest suspension footbridge, surpassing the Kokonoe Yume Suspension Bridge in Oita Prefecture.

Visitors to the Mishima Skywalk can traverse the length of the bridge, taking about 5 minutes in each direction. There’s also a range of additional activities available at the skywalk, include a high ropes course, a climbing wall, buggy tours, and the Long-Zip Slide. The Long-Zip Slide is a 560m zipline that traverses the length of the Skywalk some, passing by the bridge at high speeds. Each activity has its own cost in additional to entry to Mishima Skywalk.
