Getting to Akihabara is quite easy, as you can get to it from many of the Tokyo station with minimal transfers.
From Tokyo Station, the journey is only 4 minutes in length, and will cost 140JPY.
From Shinjuku Station, the train ride is about 20 minutes long, and costs 170JPY.
