Kanagawa Prefecture

Kanagawa Prefecture is located directly south of the Tokyo Metropolitan area,  housing about 9,100,000 people, making it the 2nd most populated prefecture in Japan, despite it being the one of the smallest prefectures. Yokohama is the capital city of Kanagawa Prefecture.

Kanagawa Prefecture is most well known for two regions, Lake Hakone and Kamakura. Additionally, it may also be one of the oldest regions in Japan, with some artifacts being uncovered within the prefecture that date back to 400BCE.

Kanagawa Prefecture is home to both stunning nature, and the hustle and bustle sky scrappers.
