Kirosan Park is home to the Kirosan Observatory Park, a panoramic vista that looks Kurushima-Kaikyo bridge, a large suspension bridge that spans a section of the Seto Inland Sea of Japan.

Like many of Ehime prefectures gems, Kirosan Park is seldom on tourists itinerary. However, for those who can make the journey to Kirosan Park, the views are well worth the effort. 

At an elevation of 308m, Kirosan Park looks over the Kurushima-Kaikyo bridge and some of the many islands that make up the Seto inland sea. Kirosan Park has a modern observation deck, providing visitors with stunning day and night views. It is undoubtedly one of the hidden scenic gems in this area and one well worth visiting. 

Kirosan Park is often regarded as one of the top views in the region, and has been growing in popularity as a sight seeing destination in recent years.

Accessing Kirosan Park

Kirosan Park has a small number of parking spaces available to your car at. 

Kirosan Park can not be accessed by Public transport as public transport is not available near the park. 

If you are wanting to explore Kirosan Park, but don’t have a car, then we recommend renting a bicycle from Imabari, and cycling across the Kurushima-Kaikyo bridge. And while that means that you will have to bike a bit further, the views from the bridge, and Kirosan will be well worth it. You will need to have a decent level of fitness if you are wanting to to bicycle up Kirosan, as the observation deck is over 300m above sea level, and to access it via bike, you will need to get up the mountain-side.
