Shinjuku Station is a a labyrinth of shops, restaurants, and exits. Shinjuku Station can be reached from Tokyo Station on the Yamanote Line in about 30 minutes, or on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line in about 20 minutes.
Shinjuku Skyscraper District
The Shinjuku Skyscraper District is located west of Shinjuku Station and is home to some of Tokyo’s premier international hotel chains, including the Hilton Tokyo and the Hyatt Regency Tokyo.
The district is also home to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. This administration building has a free observation deck, offering up a fantastic view of the Tokyo skyline.
Kabukicho
Kabukichō, Tokyo’s infamous red-light district in Shinjuku, is a vibrant nightlife hub packed with host clubs, bars, pachinko parlors, love hotels, and entertainment venues. Known for its neon lights, bustling streets, and party vibes, there is something for all sexes and all sexual orientations in Kabukicho.
