Accessing the Kimono Forest
Kimono Forest can be found directly outside Arashiyama Station on the Keifuku Randen Line.
Alternatively, from JR Saga Arashiyama Station, the Kimono Forest is only about a 5 minute walk.
Arashiyama is a popular destination for tourists in Kyoto, and can easily be reached from Kyoto Station. Simply take the JR San-in Line from Kyoto station, to Saga-Arashiyama Station, taking about 17 minutes and costing 240JPY one way. Most of the top sites in Arashiyama are only a short walk from Saga Arashiyama Station.
