Kouri Beach in Okinawa prefecture is a popular swimming beach on Kouri Island. The beach is best known for the vibrant crystal clear blue water, and views looking out to Kouri Bridge. Facilities in the area typically include parking, restrooms, small cafés, and rental shops offering umbrellas and water-activity equipment. The beach can become busy during peak seasons, especially around midday, so early morning or late afternoon visits provide a quieter experience.
One of the most famous vantage points of the bridge is from Kouri Ocean Tower, which looks out towards the Kouri Beach and Bridge. The Kouri Ocean tower is an 82m tall observation tower located mere minutes from the beach. The tower provides unmatched amd panoramic views of the Okinawan ocean.

Accessing Kouri Beach
Kouri Beach is located on the island of Kouri, in northern Okinawa Prefecture. Due to the remote nature of Okinawa, public transport is not the best or quickest way to access the beach. Rental Cars or other private transport is the best and quickest way to get around Okinawa.
From Nago City, Kouri Beach is a 30-minute drive, or an 1 hour 30 minutes from Naha City.
