Susukino is a large and vibrant entertainment district in Sapporo’s city centre. Known as a hub for advertisements, Karaoke Bars, restaurants, bars, izakaya, pachinko parlours, red light establishments and more.

In February, the district takes on a magical appearance, as Susukino becomes a venue for the the Sapporo Snow Festival, taking place for a week, hosting the annual ice sculpture competition near Susukino Station.

Accessing Susukino

Susukino can be reached easily from both Sapporo Station and Odori Station. From Sapporo station, take the Nanboku Subway Line, 3 minutes and 2 stops to Susukino Station, costing 210JPY each way. Susukino is also one stop from Odori Station on the Nanboku Subway Line, costing 210JPY as well.
